Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store role in Roseburg, OR. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience while handling cash to standard. You’ll participate in unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock conditions, and support omnichannel services like BOPIS and SFS.

The job emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to store procedures, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store and perform stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; manage returns/go back.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully; model positive behavior and uphold the company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
