Job summary

Michaels Stores in Beaverton, OR is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, operate the checkout, and support in-store processes. You will help customers locate products, enroll them in rewards, and participate in omnichannel fulfillment like BOPIS and SFS.

This role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing. Ability to stand for long periods and lift items is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back process and store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; ensure compliance.
• Interact with others respectfully; promote company values; serve as a role model.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
