Job summary

Michaels is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service in Washington, MO. You will help customers shop, locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience with accurate cash handling.

You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising to keep the store well stocked and aligned with planograms. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience and are comfortable with rewards programs, VOC surveys, and Omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers in locating products and providing solutions.
• Cash handling and checkout experience to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
