Job summary

Hy-Vee's Rock Island location is seeking a Service Manager to keep the store running smoothly by supervising teams across departments and ensuring customers receive prompt, friendly service.

You will plan schedules, manage staffing, oversee merchandising and compliance, train employees, handle customer issues, and step in wherever the store needs you most. Night and weekend shifts are required; previous retail leadership and strong customer service skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Able to lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong arithmetic and cash handling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile.
• Lead by example; foster teamwork and accountability.
• Plan and adjust work schedules; assign duties.
