Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Two or more years of similar or related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Lead by example and maintain positive employee relations, creating an atmosphere of teamwork and accountability.
• Plan, prepare, and adjust work schedules and assign employees to duties.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees across all store areas.
• Ensure proper customer service and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Train workers on store policies and procedures and provide ongoing education.
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions or transfers.
• Train and enforce safety procedures to provide a safe work environment; handle injury reports as needed.
• Order merchandise, verify deliveries, and report discrepancies.
• Determine locations of ad and promotional displays and ensure product quality.
• Compile and understand managerial data including sales and inventory reports.
• Review personnel records and payroll basics.
