Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers
• Lead by example and maintain positive employee relations
• Plan, prepare, and adjust work schedules
• Supervise activities across all store areas in the manager's absence
• Ensure proper customer service and address issues promptly
• Train workers on store policies and procedures
• Evaluate employee performance and recommend promotions or transfers
• Enforce safety procedures and document incidents
• Order merchandise, verify deliveries, report discrepancies
• Determine ad and promotional display locations and ensure stock
• Compile sales, inventory, and display projections
• Review personnel records for accuracy and payroll basics
• Handle cash registers and license transactions
• Suggest cost reduction and shelf allocations
