Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of Store leadership and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.

Responsibilities include leading store team members, managing customer service programs, processing transfers and orders, handling returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise properly.
• Invoicing of all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, secure money/deposits, and check/secure delivery vehicles.
