Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, and store operations. The role may involve shift management in their absence and bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Key duties include leading team members in service, handling store communications, processing buy online/ship to store orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing and returns.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Desired: Retail sales experience in auto parts

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure program execution.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges with accurate refunds and proper staging.
• Invoice all merchandise before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure deposits and building.
• All other duties as assigned.
