Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role also includes shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage orders and returns, and ensure proper invoicing and daily procedures.

Qualifications

• Must obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
