Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of managers.

You will lead team members to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, supervise showroom customer service programs, handle calls, orders, transfers, and returns, and ensure proper invoicing and security

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required for customer interactions and team leadership.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within the first months of employment.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.
• Automotive knowledge for troubleshooting and upsell opportunities.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired for serving a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute company programs.
• Ensure calls are answered according to policy and orders are processed promptly.
• Handle buys online/ship to store, transfers, and shipments with timely customer contact.
• Ensure returns and refunds are processed correctly and invoicing is accurate.
• Perform opening/closing duties, manage money and deposits, and secure the store.
