O’Reilly Auto Parts in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, and operations. You will also assume shift management in the absence of managers.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multilingual skills, and a willingness to engage with both retail and professional customers. Experience in automotive parts is a plus, and RSS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and that returns are processed smoothly.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor posted schedules and ensure clock-ins/outs comply with policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
