Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The role requires strong communication and RSS Certification, with desirable ASE Certification and automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and refunds accurately using the proper payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
