Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Vidalia, GA is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assist in leading sales, service, and store operations.

You will supervise showroom customer service programs, manage transfers and orders, handle returns and invoicing, and assist with day-end and opening/closing duties. Strong communication and RSS certification are required, with ASE and multilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desirable: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Desirable: Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Desirable: ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom, including programs like Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing (including core charges and warranties) before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules and proper clock-in/out practices.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures; secure money/deposits; prepare bank deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.
