Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive knowledge is advantageous.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and enforce service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store orders and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using electronic ledger.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed promptly with accurate refunds.
• Invoice merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, and secure money and deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
