Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations.

This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will help serve a diverse customer base in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer telephone according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and log them electronically.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedule and proper clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
