Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team executes on service programs.
• Handle store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money handling and securing the store.
• Ensure all orders and transfers are processed promptly and customers are notified of shipments.
• Process returns/exchanges accurately and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties prior to product leaving the store.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and communicate Zipline messages to staff.
• Maintain posted schedules and approve deviations, and ensure proper clock-in/out by staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
