Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in delivering outstanding customer service and efficient store operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership and oversight of daily tasks such as selling, returns, and merchandise handling.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, retail auto-parts experience, and knowledge of automotive systems.

Qualifications

• Must obtain RSS Certification.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service for retail and professional customers.
• Oversee store operations and ensure policy-compliant processes for returns, exchanges, and shipments.
• Coordinate opening/closing duties, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Assist Store Manager and Acting Manager in shift leadership and scheduling.
• Support merchandising, pricing, and in-store promotions to enhance sales.
