Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Minnesota is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure team members clock in/out per policy and adhere to schedule.
• Perform opening/closing duties including money deposits and security.
• All other duties as assigned.
