Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Seabrook, NH is seeking a Store Associate who will help customers, locate products, and provide solutions while ensuring a fast checkout experience.

You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and omnichannel processes, delivering a well‑merchandised and in‑stock store. This role requires standing for long periods, lifting, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 16 in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible to complete merchandise recovery and maintenance and the go-back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance
• Interact with others in a respectful manner; promote the organization's vision and values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
