Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, truck unloading, and merchandising to keep the store well stocked.

Roles include promoting the Rewards program, participating in BOPIS/SFS processes, and supporting safety and store recovery initiatives. Applicants must be 16+ and capable of standing for long periods in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Store in stock optimization and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Interact with customers and team members professionally, promoting the company values
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
