Job summary

Michaels Vallejo store is hiring team members to help customers, stock shelves, and operate checkout with friendly service in a climate controlled environment. This role supports BOPIS/SFS processes and rewards enrollments while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old as stated by Michaels.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC and participate in omni-channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock store and manage merchandise recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact respectfully with customers and teammates; model company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
