Job summary

Michaels in Monona, WI seeks a friendly team member to assist customers, handle checkout, and support store operations. You will help customers locate products, participate in omnichannel processes, and keep the store well stocked and compliant with safety standards.

The role involves unloading trucks, merchandising, and engaging customers with loyalty programs while upholding store recovery and brand standards. Nights, weekends, and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and maintain store recovery standards.
