Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Retail Security Systems Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and service for EAS, RFID, and CCTV equipment across retail sites in Northern Louisiana and central-south Arkansas. You will respond to service calls, train customers, and manage parts to enable first-time fixes while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass background checks for state licenses in LA and AR, and solid knowledge

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass state and federal background check to obtain state low voltage license in Louisiana and Arkansas.
• Proficiency in electronics and networking fundamentals.
• Strong written and oral communication; MS Office and basic PC skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair EAS, RFID and CCTV equipment in retail environments.
• Respond to service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Work directly with customers and team members to resolve issues promptly and provide equipment training.
• Maintain an accurate parts inventory to support first-time fixes and efficient service delivery driving customer SLA’s.
• Report customer satisfaction updates and any service or sales opportunities identified during visits to management.
• Operate company vehicle safely to and from service calls and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
