Job summary

Target in Vermont is seeking a Security Specialist to help protect guests, team members, and assets in a fast-paced retail environment. You will use de-escalation techniques, monitor video systems, document incidents, and support theft recovery as needed.

In this role you’ll be part of Target’s Asset Protection team, receive comprehensive training, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends to meet store needs.

• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly guest experience and assist guests in finding what they need.
• Respond to security incidents and document them in the case management system.
• Use de-escalation tactics and Target's video surveillance system to maintain safety.
• Conduct merchandise safety checks and assist with theft recovery as needed.
• Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
