Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Sunnyvale, TX. You will patrol retail spaces, monitor entrances, and provide courteous customer service while enforcing access control and safety policies.

The role offers flexible scheduling, opportunities to learn our shift-claim platform, and a chance to develop security experience in a supportive team environment. Requires basic computer use and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention and customer service experience are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and employees while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in retail areas and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Document incidents and daily activities per site procedures.
