Job summary

Allied Universal in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail/mall setting. You will patrol, deter theft, monitor entrances, and provide courteous service to visitors and staff while following site policies and incident procedures.

You will document activities, operate access-control tools, respond to incidents calmly, and work with a team to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Schedule: Mon–Fri 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; Sat/Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, visitors, and employees following site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of retail/mall areas and report unusual activity.
• Deter theft and ensure access control through visible presence and adherence to procedures.
• Complete activity logs and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
