Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control Security Officer in Sunnyvale, CA to monitor retail locations, deter incidents, and support access control. You will perform regular foot patrols, observe and report activity, assist visitors, and maintain a professional presence in a dynamic retail environment.

The position offers a pay rate of $24.00 per hour with flexible DayTime and weekend shifts and opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and incidents to appropriate store management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and documenting observations as required.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and monitoring of designated areas while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic retail environment.
