Job Title: Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples Stores

Responsibilities

1. Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to enhance customer service, sales, and conversion rates.
2. Focus on delivering an exceptional store experience through consultative selling and total solutions for customers.
3. Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
4. Perform Floor Leader duties, guiding the team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
5. Support company initiatives, adapt to changes, and perform additional duties as assigned.
6. Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks, and assist with operational responsibilities in partnership with the General Manager.
7. Coach team members on behaviors that drive results through role-playing and feedback.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Flexible schedule availability based on store needs.
• At least 1 year of retail sales or service experience.
• Strong customer engagement skills and understanding of customer needs.
• Effective communication, organizational skills, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Experience in team coaching or supervision.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflict cooperatively.
• Integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Physical ability to lift/move 10-50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk continuously.
