Job Title: Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples Stores

Join us as a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples Stores. We are hiring immediately and offer the opportunity for an in-person interview shortly after applying.

Role Overview

As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you will champion customer engagement and oversee front-of-store operations. Your focus will be on increasing sales, conversions, and service, while actively engaging customers to provide comprehensive solutions. You will also provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional store experience through consultative selling and total solutions to customers.
• Own weekly sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform Floor Leader duties, directing the team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Support company initiatives, adapt to changes, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete daily merchandising and sales tasks, and assist with operational responsibilities in partnership with the GM.
• Coach team members on customer service behaviors and results through role playing and feedback.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Flexible schedule based on store needs.
• At least 1 year of experience selling retail products or services.
• Strong customer engagement skills and understanding of customer needs.
• Effective communication, organization, and adaptability.
• Experience coaching a team or supervising others.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts cooperatively.
• Honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Physical ability to lift/move materials weighing 10-50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand/walk continuously.
