Job summary

IDT Corporation is seeking a passionate Retail Sales Specialist to join their National Retail Solutions division. This role focuses on outside sales of their point-of-sale systems and related services in the San Francisco Bay area. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in selling Merchant Services and be comfortable with technology while being able to multitask effectively.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. You will earn a competitive salary along with commissions and benefits.

National Retail Solutions (NRS plus), a division of IDT Corporation, is looking to add a passionate salesperson to our team. You will earn a competitive salary, benefits, and commissions.

The Retail Sales Specialist will be responsible for outside, direct sales of the NRS product and service portfolio in the San Francisco Bay area. These products include point‑of‑sale systems, credit card processing, cash advances, and future offerings. The new teammate will develop a plan to increase the reach of IDT and NRS products in their territory by prospecting potential customers, securing orders, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

About the Opportunity

• Make commissions from direct sales of Point of Sale devices, Merchant Services, Cash Advances, Loyalty Programs, and the retail product portfolio.
• Drive the completion of the application process, follow‑ups, and close deals.
• Help customers understand how to use services effectively.
• Provide light technical support on customers' equipment.
• Set up and follow up on installation and appointment schedules.
• Interact with multiple levels of support including Operations/Sales, Finance, and Help Desk.

What we would like to see

• Motivated individual with at least 1‑2 years of experience selling Merchant Services.
• Prior experience with PoS implementation and sales.
• Bilingual professionals fluent in both English and Spanish are preferred; other languages considered.
• Must be prepared to travel and visit customers door‑to‑door.
• Basic computer skills – comfortable using tablet and/or Bluetooth equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM required.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to multitask while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
