Job summary

National Retail Solutions (NRS plus), a division of IDT Corporation, is seeking a driven Retail Sales Specialist to drive outside sales in the Los Angeles area and promote POS systems, merchant services, and related retail solutions.

The role emphasizes prospecting, closing deals, and ensuring customer success, with travel to client sites required and commissions tied to performance. A bilingual English/Spanish skill set is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience selling Merchant Services.
• Familiar with PoS implementation and sales.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Willing to travel door‑to‑door.
• Basic computer skills – comfortable using tablet and Bluetooth.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan to increase reach of NRS products by prospecting for potential customers and securing orders.
• Drive the completion of the application process, follow‑ups, and close deals.
• Help customers understand how to use our services effectively.
• Provide light technical support on customers' equipment.
• Set up and follow up on installation and appointment schedules.
• Interact with Operations/Sales, Finance, and Help Desk.

National Retail Solutions (NRS plus), a division of IDT Corporation, is looking to add a passionate salesperson to our team. You will earn a competitive salary, benefits, and commissions.

NRS' Retail Solutions help our customers' small businesses grow more effectively by monitoring and enhancing their operations.

The Retail Sales Specialist will be responsible for outside, direct sales of the NRS product and service portfolio in the Los Angeles area. These products include point‑of‑sale systems, credit card processing, cash advance, and future offerings.

Our new teammate will develop a plan to increase the reach of NRS products in their territory by prospecting for potential customers, securing orders, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.

About the Opportunity

• Make commissions from direct sales of Point of Sale devices, Merchant Services, Cash Advances, Loyalty Programs, and a portfolio of retail products.
• Drive the completion of the application process, follow‑ups, and close deals.
• Help customers understand how to use our services effectively.
• Provide light technical support on customers' equipment.
• Set up and follow up on installation and appointment schedules.
• Interact with multiple levels of support including Operations/Sales, Finance, and Help Desk.

What we would like to see

• Motivated individual with 1‑2 years of experience selling Merchant Services.
• Prior experience with PoS implementation and sales.
• Bilingual professionals fluent in both English and Spanish are preferred; other languages are considered.
• Must be prepared to travel and visit customers door‑to‑door.
• Basic computer skills – comfortable using tablet and Bluetooth equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Office and CRM required.
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to multitask while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
