Job summary

Brightstar Lottery in the United States is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to visit retailers, train staff, and drive instant ticket sales across Boone, Lincoln, and parts of Kanawha counties. You will interpret sales data and assist with equipment management and promotional events.

The role requires strong customer relationships, independent work, and travel to events. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executing retailer visits in assigned territory on an assigned call schedule.
• Facilitate on-site training with retailer owners, clerks, and managers.
• Generates, interprets, and presents sales data through company issued sales aid.
• Responsible for instant ticket equipment management and assist with gaming system equipment.
• Track and maintains adequate physical inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailers.
• Support in-store events from planning to execution to drive sales.
• Liaise between company, customer officials, and retailers.
• Educate retailers on best practices to maximize revenue.
• Evaluate and manage in-store product inventory and POS materials.
• Recommend optimal inventory mix via planograms and returns.
• Monitor inventory via lottery procedures.

Responsibilities

Territory is: Boone, Lincoln, and part of Kanawha counties.

• Executing retailer visits in assigned territory on an assigned call schedule.
• Facilitate On-site training with retailer owners, clerks, and managers, as well as other staff as needed product, program, and implementation rollouts.
• Generates, interprets, and presents sales data through company issued sales aid to grow product sales.
• Responsible for instant ticket equipment management and assist with gaming system equipment.
• Track and maintains adequate physical inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailers to influence telemarketing recommendations.
• Assist with the execution of in-store events from start to finish, including assisting with planning, scheduling, and executing promotional activities to increase sales.
• Serves as a liaison between company, customer officials, and retailers.
• Educates retailers on best practices and other marketing and sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Responsible for evaluating and managing in store product inventory, display, as well as point of sale materials.
• Recommend optimal inventory mix at retail locations through planogram compliance, instant ticket ordering, and returns.
• Monitor and track inventory by following all lottery procedures such as picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets.
• Tracks and maintains adequate inventory levels of the instant ticket product at assigned retailers.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Customer service, marketing and/or sales experience preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products

Preferred Skills

• 2-4 years marketing and/or retail sales experience
• Knowledge of Lottery products and services
• Familiarity with hardware, software, and/or back-office tools

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
