Job summary

Brightstar Lottery is seeking a Lottery Field Services Technician in Madison, WI to service retailer equipment and support our award-winning lottery services organization. You will install, repair, and maintain equipment, respond to dispatches and deliver supplies to customer locations, while providing basic training to retailers.

• Attend driver training and follow vehicle policy for company vehicles.
• Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation in the field.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field.
• Communicate with Dispatchers and report activity, times, problems, details and resolutions.
• Deliver marketing supplies and consumables and track inventory.
• Provide basic training to new retailers or refresher training to retailers.

Brightstar seeks a Lottery Field Services Technician in Madison, WI. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization. The Field Service Technician maintains service equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified "zone"to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.

• Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
• Attend driver training and follow Brightstar's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning it, and making minor adjustments to the malfunctioning component. Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Dispatch.
• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts, such as paper, ribbons, and bet slips, and track the inventory of these items.
• Deliver basic training to new retailers or refresher/remedial training to retailers performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Familiarity with field service dispatch processes and route-based customer support.
• Hands-on expertise troubleshooting electronic, mechanical, or communications equipment.
• Inventory experience involving equipment, replacement parts, tools, or consumable supplies.

Physical Requirements

• Climb ladders and work at heights, including rooftops, when completing certain equipment installations.
• Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds over significant distances, including from a parked vehicle into or onto a retailer location.
• Sit and drive for prolonged periods while traveling throughout an assigned service area.
• Demonstrate the manual dexterity required to use tools and work safely around moving parts and electrical current.
• Operate in close quarters and outdoors during inclement weather as service conditions require.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $19.00 - $28.00. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower. The Company complies with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is one part of our Total Rewards program. Non-exempt roles are eligible for irregular discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
