Job summary

Four-State-Trucks is seeking a customer service/sales associate to assist customers in person and over the phone. You will help customers find the right heavy-duty truck parts and close sales.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, gathering information, recommending products, and processing transactions while staying informed about product updates. A positive, customer-focused attitude is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Summary:

This position is responsible for working with customersdirectly in person and on the phone, answering their questions, and assistingthem with finding the right heavy duty truck part to meet their needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets all walk in/phone customers, providing excellentcustomer service.
• Gathers customer and/or product information to determinecustomer needs.
• Recommends, advises, & assistscustomer with products based on their needs.
• Processes sales and othertransactions, as needed.
• Demonstrates products to customers,explaining technical product/service information.
• Keeps up with all new productdevelopment & any changes to relay to customers.
• Answers customer questions as theyarise.
• Monitors and cleans work areas asrequired.
• Arranges services and/or delivery of goods, notifyingwarehouse/delivery/shop personnel as needed.
• Provides 2nd mile customer service standards inevery customer interaction.
• Performsother duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent needed. Any furthereducation/experience in Sales field preferred.
• Previous sales experience a plus but will train right person.
• Should possess strong listening and verbal communicationskills.
• Must maintain a positive attitude, with a focus on customerservice excellence in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively &prioritize tasks.
• Must have willingness to learn products sold, customerservice, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole inorder to meet customer needs.
• Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and aself-starter.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.Keyboarding skills a must.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, including marijuanascreening.

Shift:

Full time: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm; Saturday 9am-3pm, alternating.

Working Conditions:

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching,stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaceswill also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions when assisting customerswith order delivery. Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 50 lbs.
