Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Associates to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exemplary customer service. You will educate customers on NB product features, assist with fittings, and close sales using confident selling techniques, while maintaining a clean, well-stocked floor.

Ideal candidates are 18+, people-oriented, and able to work in a team. Prior retail experience is a plus, with flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Should be a people person and team player.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Understand the customer's needs and educate on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer questions and close sales with effective upselling.
• Correctly measure and fit customers with NB products.
• Inform customers about promotions and keep floor neat and stocked.
• Ensure items are labeled and price marked properly.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or security issues.
