Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is looking for store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs and guiding purchases in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include following merchandising standards, promoting programs, and upholding safety policies while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere. This role supports the team across the store and handles additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label enrollment).
• Adhere to policies related to safety and loss prevention; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
