Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is looking for store teammates to provide an exceptional shopping experience by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and supporting their shopping journey with detailed product knowledge.

Team members will uphold merchandising standards, promote loyalty programs, and ensure safety and a welcoming environment for all customers and fellow teammates while performing duties across the floor as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking and work at heights with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory.
• Promote company programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and private label enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
