Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, learn their needs, and support them with product knowledge while maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities include promoting loyalty programs, upholding safety guidelines, and helping create an inclusive, welcoming store environment. You may be asked to assist across departments and complete other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking; able to work at heights with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets and price changes.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and operating procedures; keep information confidential.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
