Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience by helping customers, sharing product knowledge, and upholding brand standards. Greet everyone, assess needs, and guide shoppers to the right solutions while promoting loyalty programs and credit card enrollment.

You will support merchandising fundamentals, stock replenishment, signage, and safety policies, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
