Job summary

The Tile Shop is seeking a store leadership candidate to build and guide a team of Sales Associates at our New Jersey location. You will train staff, greet customers, sell tile and related products, and manage store and warehouse operations to exceed customer expectations.

You will learn installation processes, track sales goals, and maintain brand standards while developing schedules for associates and warehouse personnel. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail management.
• Previous sales experience.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and motivate a sales team.
• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.
• Lead with a positive attitude in a commission sales environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Sense of Design: put together various styles, colors, and textures.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a well-rounded team of Sales Associates.
• Train and coach employees on policies, procedures and job duties.

• Provide customers with updates on product delivery status.
• Maintain professional standards to protect The Tile Shop brand.
• Develop schedules for Associates and Warehouse Personnel.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Use good business practices at all times.
