Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager for KC-STATELINE, MO to lead a high-performing selling culture and deliver a superior customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach teams, and drive key KPIs while ensuring SOP compliance across the store.

This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, strong customer focus, and the ability to manage multiple omni-channel activities including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery. A dynamic team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations while maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
