Michaels in Katy, TX seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales and delivering a engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end operations, POS, and in-store programs, with a focus on brand standards, SOPs, and daily execution.

You will coach and develop team members, provide MOD coverage, and strive to meet key sales and service KPIs while ensuring omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery are smooth.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors, driving conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events including balloons, birthday party operations, and loyalty enrollment.
• Promote MCC/Extend services and protection plans, driving customer adoption.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience oversight.
• Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery for omni-channel service.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
