Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Houston is seeking a FT Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales and customer experience, and supervise front-end operations. You will coach staff on selling behaviors and ensure SOPs and brand standards are followed to deliver excellent service.

This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, comfort with POS and self-checkout systems, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations, programs, and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Experience coaching staff on selling behaviors and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and service operations to achieve KPIs and strong customer experience.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Coach team to execute SOPs, brand standards and operating procedures.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout, and assist with omni-channel needs.
• oversee store events, loyalty programs, and in-store programs.
