Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring a Sales Manager in Hyannis, MA to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and oversee front-end and service operations. You will drive strong sales results and an engaging customer experience, aligning with brand standards and operational expectations.

You will coach and develop team members, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, and ensure efficient use of POS systems while driving loyalty enrollment and protection plan adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Drive omni-channel fulfillment including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team across assigned departments through onboarding and ongoing skills.
