Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. seeks a results-driven Sales Manager in Wareham, MA to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and deliver strong sales and customer experiences.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach team members, implement SOPs, and drive omni-channel initiatives including BOPIS and in-store programs. This role requires retail leadership experience and flexibility with nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach teams to achieve selling standards and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs for legal compliance and store standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion.
• Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage and support smooth transactions.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and Extend protection plans to customers.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
