Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Leader to support the Store Leadership Team with strong Leader on Duty shifts and a stellar guest experience. You will help run daily store operations, train and celebrate associates, and drive sales results while representing our values and bringing your REAL self to work.

You will lead by example, recruit and develop talent, ensure service standards are met, and create a guest-first environment that aligns with AEO Brand Standards.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong guest service focus with a passion for sales.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a key Leader on Duty (LOD) by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty.
• Lead and motivate the team, upholding AEO's service standards on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
• Recruit, hire and develop associates to ensure adequate staffing and outstanding service.
• Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and coach performance in real time.
• Execute daily visual and operational procedures including shipments, merchandising moves and standards.
• Maintain store safety and asset protection compliance with company policies.
