EXPRESS Music City is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team. The role drives sales floor and stockroom operations while training associates to deliver a great in-store shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, merchandise flow, and ensuring effective customer service and policies are followed. Strong product knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• Years of Experience: 1
• Proficient in use of technology (iPad, registers)
• Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours
• Meets physical requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
• Provide in the moment coaching/training to store associates for floor operations and customer service.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Assist in training associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results.
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage for a great customer experience.
• Oversee checkout experience and merchandise flow including shipments and replenishment.
• Monitor and analyzes customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule with the right associates.
• Promote environment focused on delivering great in-store experiences.
• Resolve customer service issues to a positive outcome.
• Lead and model customer experience.
• Display knowledge of product, policies, promotions, loyalty programs.
• Support product launches, window changes, signage placement.
