Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Sales Leader to drive a customer-obsessed selling culture in-store and online. You will model outstanding customer service, guide the team, and ensure business plans are executed in partnership with Store Manager.

The role emphasizes strong product knowledge, visual presentation, and collaboration to maximize sales and profitability, with weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail or service industry.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.
• Energetic, people and results oriented; able to work weekends/holidays/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online shopping experiences.
• Leads and supports a customer-obsessed culture prioritizing greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on and thanking each customer.
• Understands role in sales growth and how you contribute to store profitability.
• Demonstrates interpersonal savvy to read cues and respond to customers for an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to support building the basket.
• Acts as brand ambassador, treating customers and co-workers with respect while upholding company policies.
• Leads by example, supports and enforces store policies and procedures.
• Executes Manager on Duty (MOD) duties such as opening/closing, supervision, and related tasks.
• Assists in freight processing, maintains organized stockroom, and ensures correct merchandising and inventory levels.
