Job summary

Kirkland's in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Sales Leader to drive customer-focused selling across in-store and online channels. You will lead a team, model best practices, and ensure brand-aligned presentation and service to maximize sales.

The role requires a strong communicator with retail management experience, weekend/holiday availability, and a commitment to Kirkland’s values. This is a frontline leadership position at our Cedar Rapids store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail or service.
• Strong communication and customer selling skills required.
• Energetic, people- and results-oriented with drive to succeed.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift/move merchandise and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports customer selling in-store and online experiences.
• Builds a customer-obsessed culture focusing on greeting, re-engaging, educating, and thanking each customer.
• Ensures store profitability by understanding sales growth and responsibilities.
• Reads cues to tailor interactions for an exceptional in-store experience.

• Executes Manager on Duty tasks including opening/closing, supervision.
