Job summary

Michaels Howell, NJ store is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving sales results and an engaging customer experience. This role oversees front-end and service operations, ensuring brand standards and SOPs are followed with effective coaching and day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS operations, loyalty programs, and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and ensure SOPs and company programs are followed
• Coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout for smooth transactions
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, Loyalty, MCC/Extend services) and omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery)
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction through awareness and compliance
